About Me
"The Earth Mother cradles humanity in Nature's relentless and timeless cycles. In these ancient rhythms beats a universal and eternal lifeforce."
Suzanne Norman started her art career at the age of eleven, taking private lessons from an elder woman in Attleboro, Massachusetts.
A true-grit native New Englander who inspires to the ever changing colors and textures of the four seasons, she likes to capture the pulsating vibrations of her ancestors, Earth Mother, all that is above, below and within.
All of her paintings have a story behind them via meditation, a dream, thought or message to convey.
Suzanne is a member of "Wolfcry Singers", an all-female group that sing and chant traditional and contemporary Native American songs. They perform at Powwows, colleges, universities and Native American awareness functions. She is also a life-long member of the Algonquin Medicine Society based out of Dighton, Massachusetts. And, you can find her trading, dancing and singing at most Northeastern Powwows.
She looks forward to the coming season!
